Taipei Food Trip – The Continuation

Posted on 09. Jul, 2010 by Hailey in Food Trip, Good Food

This is a continuation post during our trip in 九份 Jiufen, located in the 瑞芳鎮 Ruifang township Taipei, and as I have stated previously, foods are abundant and my eyes kept on rolling to check what food we are going to try next. Which means no diet on my vocabulary every time I visit Taipei.

Anyway, we decided to eat this 油蔥棵 or Rice cake sprinkled with garlic and onions. I love this rice cake so much that I ended up eating 2 plates :) . I guess it’s the sauce and the toasted garlic plus onions on top that provide nearly all of the tastes. The feel when you eat it is akin to that so called Chinese’s turnip cake but only much softer.
